The 2024 Theoretical Field of 64: Div. 2
What would happen if the Junior College World ran their post season like the NCAA Div. 1 level?
And here we are. Back at the cusp of post-season play. Every year we have done this sort of thing and we are going to keep it going. Everyone loves how the Division 1 Level runs their Tournament. 64 Teams, 16 Regionals, having teams from all over the country play in areas they may not be used to. Now we do know that this is not financially possible for many junior colleges across the country. But it is still a fun look to see how it could look if we did have the capability to do this.
For the Division 1 and Division 2 levels it is 64 teams, for the Division 3 level it is just 32 teams.
There will be voting both on Twitter/X and here on the substack. We will slowly make our way through this just to see who the fans think would win the Theoretical National Title if the postseason was structured this way.
